Stephanie McLeod-Estevez, LCPC
Stephanie has a Masters in Expressive Arts Therapy and Counseling from Lesley University. She has worked as a psychotherapist since 2004 and owned her private practice since 2009. She was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at the age of 40, and underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy, bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction, and radiation therapy to treat the cancer. Because she was positive for a mutation of the BRCA2 gene, Stephanie underwent an oophorectomy. In addition to her own cancer battle, she was one of the primary care givers for her mother, who ultimately died from metastatic breast cancer at the age of 51. Stephanie taps into this life experience, her training as a therapist, and her own creative processing of cancer to build Creative Transformations, LLC.
